Barrow Mirror
The studio admires the way a mirror can transform a space. Part functional design piece, part art piece, mirrors have the opportunity to bridge the worlds of art and design — the Barrow Mirror looks to do just that.
This wall-mounted mirror offers the viewer a new and different way to experience the barrow design language. In reference to the distinctive angled cut synonymous with the collection, four faceted panels clutch the mirrored surface, facing the viewer head-on. This piece plays with Barrow’s angled details in a new way, allowing the viewer to experience the collection's design language from a different, face-to-face perspective.
The mirror itself is fabricated from hand-polished aluminum. This unusual material further blurs the line between art and design adding interest, texture, the evidence of handiwork, and an unexpected hue to the work's surface.
